Nine Month Appointment!!!

We saw Dr. Rohman today for our nine month appt. I still can't believe how fast time flies and that soon Kate will be a year old. Kate had to get her first "finger stick" to check for anemia, and also two immunizations today. I was so proud of her she barely cried at all, and did not cry at all for one shot. Anyway she had her first bandaid on her finger and she was obsessed with it. Then she tried to eat it so I took it off. Here are some facts about nine months.....

Things about Kate:

Crawling, Pulling up, loves to say MaMa and DaDa, getting a little separation anxiety, needs a haircut!, doesn't go to bed as easy these days (tries to pull down her mobile), loves real food, still has no teeth, oh and have I mentioned....WE ARE INTO EVERYTHING!!!!

Destin Trip 2008

We just returned from a week long trip to Destin, Florida with my entire family (mother's side). We have been taking this vacation since before I was born... maybe for 30 years? We always look forward to it and we are sad to see it end each year. Kate enjoyed the beach and really was a trooper, considering she had a horrible cough/congestion/ then both ears got infected. Yuck. But she had a blast! She did try to eat sand and she loves the pool. Kate is almost nine months old and I can't believe it. Where has the time gone? We are very very close to crawling, we are becoming a little clingy these days, we talk alot, we love to clap, and still have no teeth! She also has the sweetest, cutest personality. We love each day with her! She is so fun.

Anniversary Getaway to New Orleans!!!!

This weekend we celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary! Actually it was June 12th but we could not get away until this weekend. We went with Andrea and Aaron Edwards whose anniversary is June 11th. Anyway we had a great time and left our sweet babies at home with Grandparents. One highlight (though there were many) was having our picture taken with the Hand Granade (sp?) Also I would like to mention that I was the Hand Granade Queen because I could throw mine into the basket on the ceiling unlike the others! We had a great time, ate way too much food, but it is nice to return home today.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day. I sure love my Daddy! He is the best and we have fun together. This weekend I watched the US Open with him and we played. Even though it was Father's Day I am now trying to say MaMa, but we won't tell Daddy yet! Also I went to Yazoo to see "J" he is a great grandaddy!

Beach Trip

We just returned from the Destin. Kate did pretty well. She loves the pool but was not quit sure what to think of the ocean or sand. Anyway she was fun and too cute in those swim suits.
