into trouble, but this does not stop me! HeHe!!!

It has been awhile since I posted. Sorry but we have had a lot going on and this one keeps

me extremely busy! We are into mom right now so there is little time alone these days. We

are walking, talking, throwing some temper tantrums, and just growing up. We are getting ear tubes on Friday due to recurrent ear infections, so I hope she will get some relief. Still she is the

sweetest thing. Our favorite word is "Uh Oh", and we think it's funny to throw our food off the high chair and say "Uh Oh". We also love waving and saying "Bye Bye" and we like to blow kisses. Also we think every animal makes the sound like a dog "Woof Woof", still working on that.

Happy First Birthday!!!!

Today is Kate's first Birthday! I can't believe she is one today. This year has flown by but we have loved every minute of it. I am a little sad my baby is growing up. We had a birthday party on Saturday at the house. Kate had lots of family and friends over to celebrate.She also loved the cake!! We also are walking now, which is so fun. She just keeps growing up too fast. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl, we love you so much!

Last week we went to the Ag Museum with Riley and his Mom. We went on a hayride, saw some farm animals, and played with the pumpkins. We had a blast! Here are some pics from the day.

I knew Kate had been playing in our bathroom but suddenly she disappeared. I just assumed she had quickly crawled into another room but Roger found her! She has now starting standing on her tip toes to open the taller cabinets. Well she figured out it was more fun to crawl in and find out what was under there! I guess it is past time to put locks on the cabinets! Stinker!

Kate AKA Hannah Montana!!!!

Kate has been sick this weekend. So by Sunday afternoon we needed an outing... WALMART! As I was shopping I turned around and there was a small version of Hannah Montana or my sweet Kate. I was laughing so hard I was crying, I could not talk. So of course, I whipped out the camera to document what Roger had done. Had to share this with everyone.

Silver Rattle and Miller

Kate goes all around the house with this silver rattle in her mouth. Can't quite figure it out but she loves it. Also of course the dog, Miller. She almost terrorizes him. She loves to pull his hair, ears, and tail. Sweet dog does not mind, but usually runs from her!

P.S. This is how our wild hair looks when we wake up in the mornings. Also Kate turned 10 months on September 9th. I love you sweet girl!!!

Kate has had a big weekend! Yes, she experienced the Grove and Vaught/Hemingway Stadium aka Ole Miss Football!!!! We are starting her early. The heat was almost unbearable, but she did really well. As you can see she sweated the whole time but overall she enjoyed it. It did exhaust her. Then Sunday night I finally decided it was time to trim the "rat tail". Gosh, I hate to call it that because her hair is so pretty. But Roger and I gave it a little trim and it looks too cute. So here are pics from a big weekend.

Nine Month Appointment!!!

We saw Dr. Rohman today for our nine month appt. I still can't believe how fast time flies and that soon Kate will be a year old. Kate had to get her first "finger stick" to check for anemia, and also two immunizations today. I was so proud of her she barely cried at all, and did not cry at all for one shot. Anyway she had her first bandaid on her finger and she was obsessed with it. Then she tried to eat it so I took it off. Here are some facts about nine months.....

Things about Kate:

Crawling, Pulling up, loves to say MaMa and DaDa, getting a little separation anxiety, needs a haircut!, doesn't go to bed as easy these days (tries to pull down her mobile), loves real food, still has no teeth, oh and have I mentioned....WE ARE INTO EVERYTHING!!!!

Destin Trip 2008

We just returned from a week long trip to Destin, Florida with my entire family (mother's side). We have been taking this vacation since before I was born... maybe for 30 years? We always look forward to it and we are sad to see it end each year. Kate enjoyed the beach and really was a trooper, considering she had a horrible cough/congestion/ then both ears got infected. Yuck. But she had a blast! She did try to eat sand and she loves the pool. Kate is almost nine months old and I can't believe it. Where has the time gone? We are very very close to crawling, we are becoming a little clingy these days, we talk alot, we love to clap, and still have no teeth! She also has the sweetest, cutest personality. We love each day with her! She is so fun.
